Eclipse vs Peec AI vs Otterly.AI (2026)
All three track whether ChatGPT and other AI assistants name your brand. What the headline price doesn't show is how many assistants that price actually covers. Otterly.AI includes four and charges up to $439 a month extra to add Claude. Peec AI lets you pick three and charges for each one beyond that. Eclipse covers ten for a flat £795, runs on demand or on a schedule you set, and draws each run from a monthly AI balance. It's also a full content system rather than a tracker.

The 10-second answer
Otterly.AI
Four engines including Google AI Overviews and Copilot, daily tracking, unlimited users, from $29 a month. The catch: Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are all paid add-ons, and on the top tier Claude alone costs $439 a month.
$29 / $189 / $489 per monthPeec AI
The only tool here that publishes exactly how many AI answers you get. Daily tracking, unlimited users, clean reporting. The catch: three models per plan, each extra one costs $35–165 a month, and it's report-only, so it won't write anything for you.
$95 / $245 / $495 per monthEclipse
Tracks ten assistants and then researches, writes, approves and publishes the content that closes the gap. No seat or per-client fees. The catch: £795 a month, frequent runs draw on a £50 monthly AI balance, one competitor included, and you buy through a sales call.

What will your tracking actually cost?
Set how many prompts you want tracked, then add the assistants you care about. Watch what happens to Otterly when you add Claude on a big prompt set.
Monthly list prices. Core engines assumed: ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Otterly.AI includes those plus Copilot; Gemini and Google AI Mode are one add-on, Claude another, priced by tier. We model at most one +100 prompt block ($99/mo, Standard and Premium only). Peec AI includes three models of your choice; adding Gemini counts as a fourth. Peec plans above 350 prompts, and Claude on Peec, go to Enterprise and aren't priced publicly. Eclipse is a flat £795 with no prompt cap and all ten of its assistants included, runs weekly by default (more frequent runs draw on its £50 monthly AI balance), and shown at £1 = $1.32. It isn't a like-for-like comparison: Eclipse's price also covers content production.

Tool by tool, honestly
Otterly.AI: brilliant at $29, surprising at $928
$29 → $189 → $489/moIf all you need is to find out whether ChatGPT knows your brand exists, nothing here comes close to Otterly on price. The bill only gets interesting when you want Claude too.
Every Otterly plan includes four engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. That's a genuinely useful default set, because AI Overviews and Copilot are exactly the surfaces some rivals leave out. Tracking runs daily, team members are unlimited, and Lite at $29 a month gets you 15 prompts in one workspace with three recommendations a week. Standard at $189 adds unlimited workspaces, unlimited recommendations, and API and MCP access.
The pricing turns on the engine add-ons. Gemini and Google AI Mode cost $9, $59 or $149 a month depending on your tier; Claude costs $29, $109 or $439. On Premium, adding Claude takes a $489 plan to $928, and adding Gemini as well brings it to $1,077, above Eclipse's flat £795. The add-on price scales with your prompt allowance, which is fair in principle, but it means the engine you add matters more to your bill than the plan you pick.
Peec AI: the one that shows its working
$95 → $245 → $495/moMost tools in this category sell you prompts and leave you to work out what you're actually getting. Peec tells you: 4,500 answers a month on Starter, 13,500 on Pro, 31,500 on Advanced.
Peec is a Berlin company founded in 2025 and focused entirely on AI search reporting. Every self-serve plan includes unlimited users and daily tracking, and you choose three models from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. Advanced adds multi-country support and Looker Studio. Agencies get a separate set of plans priced by credits, where one prompt checked by one model on one day uses one credit.
The limit that matters is the three-model ceiling. Each model beyond three costs $35, $85 or $165 a month depending on tier, so tracking four assistants on Advanced is $660 rather than $495. Claude isn't among the six standard self-serve models, so if Claude matters to your buyers, expect an Enterprise conversation. And Peec is deliberately report-only: it tells you where you're missing, but writing the page that fixes it is your job.
Eclipse: a content team with a tracker attached
£795/mo, one planComparing Eclipse to Otterly on tracking alone makes Eclipse look absurdly expensive. That's the wrong comparison. The right one is Otterly plus the writers, editors and publishing time needed to act on what it finds.
Eclipse runs your buyer questions across ten assistants, weekly by default or whenever you choose: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Llama, Mistral, Kimi, MiniMax and Grok. It records who gets named and turns each gap into planned work. Then it does the work: research canvas, evidence-backed briefs, cited articles, approvals, and publishing straight to WordPress, HubSpot, Webflow and other CMSs. There's one plan, no seat fees, and agencies run as many isolated client workspaces as they like with no per-client charge. A full MCP server also lets AI agents such as Claude Code or Cursor research, write, publish and read visibility data without anyone opening the interface; reading data is free, and paid actions show a preview for confirmation first.
The limits aren't on the pricing page, so we asked. The plan includes £50 of AI balance a month, which rolls over if unused, with top-ups at £1 for £1 and no markup, plus 20 generation credits for articles and social drafts. Each workspace gets one fully tracked competitor, with extras at £49 a month, along with five focus keywords and five monitored subreddits, all expandable in paid blocks. There are no onboarding or integration fees. Runs are weekly by default, but you can execute any profile on demand or schedule it daily or even hourly, choosing which assistants each run covers; every run draws on the AI balance, which Eclipse says costs pennies per run. Each result shows the full answer, average position, 30-day change, sentiment and best-performing platform, and a prioritised list of what to do next. The trade-offs are real, though: frequent tracking is paid from the balance rather than included in the plan price, Google AI Overviews and Copilot aren't among its ten assistants, and you can't start without a sales call.
What vendors won't lead with
🤖 Otterly's Claude add-on nearly doubles Premium
Premium is $489 a month. Adding Claude costs another $439 a month, and adding Gemini another $149. Budget for the engines your buyers actually use, not the plan headline.
🔢 Peec AI caps you at three models
Every self-serve plan includes three models of your choice. Each extra one costs $35 to $165 a month depending on tier, and Claude isn't on the standard self-serve list at all.
📅 Eclipse's daily tracking comes out of your AI balance
Otterly and Peec include daily tracking in the plan price. Eclipse runs weekly by default; daily, hourly or on-demand runs are drawn from the £50 monthly AI balance. Eclipse says a run can cost pennies, but heavy schedules across many prompts will need top-ups.
🔎 Eclipse doesn't list Google AI Overviews
Its ten tracked assistants don't include Google AI Overviews or Microsoft Copilot, two of the most widely seen AI answer surfaces. Both are included by default on Otterly.
🏁 Eclipse includes one tracked competitor
Each workspace gets one fully tracked competitor. Every additional one is £49 a month, so tracking three rivals takes the bill from £795 to £893.
📄 Eclipse's limits aren't on its pricing page
The £50 AI balance, 20 generation credits and competitor, keyword and subreddit allowances were confirmed to us in writing, not published. Ask for them in writing before you sign.
🧮 Prompts aren't the real unit
A prompt checked daily across four engines costs four times the tracking of one checked on a single engine. Compare answers per month, which only Peec publishes directly.
📈 Past 350 or 400 prompts, pricing goes private
Peec's self-serve plans top out at 350 prompts and Otterly's at 400 plus add-ons. Beyond that, both move to Enterprise quotes, so the published price stops being your price.
Quick answers
Of these three, Otterly.AI at $29 a month (Lite, 15 prompts, four engines including ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews). Peec AI starts at $95 and Eclipse at £795. Otterly's price rises quickly if you add Claude or Gemini, so check the add-ons for the assistants you need.
Otterly is cheaper to start and includes Google AI Overviews and Copilot by default. Peec is clearer about limits, stating the exact number of AI answers each plan covers, and lets you choose which three models to track. If you need Claude, Otterly offers it as a paid add-on while Peec doesn't list it on self-serve plans.
Only if you'd otherwise pay people to act on what a tracker finds. Eclipse's price mainly covers researching, writing, approving and publishing content, with AI visibility tracking included. If you only want to monitor mentions, Otterly or Peec cost a fraction of it.
Eclipse includes Claude among its ten tracked assistants. Otterly.AI offers it as a paid add-on at $29, $109 or $439 a month by tier. Peec AI doesn't list Claude among its six standard self-serve models, so it's an Enterprise conversation there.
Otterly.AI includes it on every plan, and Peec AI lets you select it as one of your three models. Eclipse's list of ten tracked assistants doesn't include Google AI Overviews or Microsoft Copilot.
Otterly.AI and Peec AI both track daily as part of the plan. Eclipse runs weekly by default, but any profile can be run on demand or scheduled daily or hourly, with each run paid from its monthly AI balance. It keeps every previous run so you can see when a mention appeared or disappeared.
Otterly.AI and Peec AI both offer free trials, though neither states the length on its pricing page. Eclipse starts with a booked call, and agencies can ask for a one-month pilot on a real client.
Ready to choose?
Start with Otterly.AI if you just need to know whether AI assistants mention you: it's the cheapest real entry and includes Google AI Overviews. Choose Peec AI if you want the clearest limits and daily reporting across three models of your choice. Choose Eclipse only if you want the fixes written and published for you, not just flagged, and are happy to pay for frequent tracking from its AI balance on top of £795 a month. Whichever you pick, price the assistants you actually need, not the plan headline.
